CARRACE is a small slot car racing club located in Canberra, ACT. The
club races mainly 1/32 scale slot cars, but also enjoys racing two classes
in 1/24 scale. Race nights are run on a variety of plastic and routed
wooden tracks located in and around Canberra and the region.
The club meets every second Friday night, gates open (as it were!) at
6:30pm with racing beginning at 7:00 pm. Each race night consists of a
number of classes using Scalextric, SCX, Ninco, Flyslot, MRRC, AUTOart,
Carrera, Pioneer, Revell Monogram, Slot.it and Sideways cars.

AGM 2011
The CARRACE Annual General Meeting was held on Friday 16 December 2011.
Race Format – For 2012 Competition
With two exceptions, all existing classes will
be
retained and the 2012 competition will be in the same
format as in past years. However, 2012 will see two
classes being removed from the calandar.
Founders Cup
The Founders Cup - to be known as the ‘JCCMG Cup’
will début for 2012.
The Cup will mark the contribution made to the Club
over many years by five of its founding members (Jason,
Chris, Chris, Mark and Glenn). And will sport a
perpetual trophy which will be kindley donated by Bob.
One class will be nominated as the 'Founders
Cup' and will be advised prior to the seasons first
race.
