CARRACE is a small slot car racing club located in Canberra, ACT. The club races mainly 1/32 scale slot cars, but also enjoys racing two classes in 1/24 scale. Race nights are run on a variety of plastic and routed wooden tracks located in and around Canberra and the region.

The club meets every second Friday night, gates open (as it were!) at 7pm with racing beginning at 7:30 pm. Each race night consists of a number of classes using Scalextric, Ninco, SCX, Fly, MRRC, AUTOart and Carrera cars.

A big congratulations to Chris, the winner of the Club Championship for 2009 with a massive 1540 points. And to the runners up, Peter and Rick, with a total score of 1062 and 987 respectively.

2009 was a fantastic year with a huge line up and some very close racing, particularly towards the end of the year. I would personally like to Chris and Jorgo for all the effort that they have put in through the year to make it another fantastic year of racing!
